      Recipe:

      Classic Fried Catfish:

Ingredients: 1 lb catfish fillets, 1 cup buttermilk, 1 tsp hot sauce, 1 cup Louisiana Fish Fry Classic Fish Fry, vegetable oil for frying, lemon wedges for serving

      Instructions:

In a shallow dish, mix together the buttermilk and hot sauce. Place the catfish fillets in the mixture and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Pour the Louisiana Fish Fry Classic Fish Fry into a separate shallow dish.

Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat.

Remove the catfish fillets from the buttermilk mixture and coat them in the Louisiana Fish Fry Classic Fish Fry.

Carefully place the coated catfish fillets in the hot oil and fry them for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Remove the fried catfish from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

Serve the fried catfish with lemon wedges and your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
